Shuffle Radio is Ireland’s first AI radio station (we think – tell us if we’re wrong!). It’s a bit of fun, run by music lovers. We’re not here to replace anyone: we love real radio and the people who make it, and we listen to them too.
Your moment on the radio – not a replacement for the real thing
Shuffle Radio is a bit of fun. It’s a simple way for ordinary people to try presenting their own radio show and tell their friends about it.
It isn’t meant to replace professional radio presenters, and it never could. Nothing comes close to what a real presenter brings: the personality, the conversation, the chat. We’re big fans of them, and this is just a simple tool for having a laugh on air.
What the AI does
- Picks and plays the music, jingles and station idents, around the clock.
- Triggers each pre-written link at the right moment, between songs.
- Reads those links out loud, on the fly, using an AI voice generator – think of it as a very clever voice synthesiser.
Our presenter voices are based on real human voices, so they sound natural. Every one belongs to a real person who has agreed to it: professional voice actors from our voice provider’s library, and presenters who are remunerated for lending Shuffle Radio their voice. The speech itself is generated by AI, and we say so on air and on our player.
What the AI doesn’t do
- It doesn’t write our scripts. Every link, intro, sign-off and dedication is written by a person.
- It doesn’t make things up live. If a line hasn’t been written and approved by a person, it doesn’t go out.
- It doesn’t copy anyone’s voice without their permission. Guest voices are only ever made from a clip the guest recorded themselves and agreed to.
Everything you hear is human-moderated
Every script and every dedication is read and approved by a real person, our moderator, before it goes on air. Nothing reaches the airwaves unchecked.

Dedications
Read and approved by a person before they air. We can edit or decline anything that breaks our House Rules.
Guest voices
Every voice clip is listened to by a person, checked against the name on the booking, and test-played before it goes on air.
Playout
A person can stop, skip or override the station at any time.

You can book your own show on Shuffle Radio – or give one as a gift. You record a 10-second clip on your phone, we make an AI version of your voice, and it presents your show with our pre-written script and your dedications.
Your voice is yours: we only use it for the show you booked, and we delete it afterwards.
