Keep it fun

House Rules

Shuffle Radio is family-friendly, so a person checks every dedication before it airs.

✓

Keep it clean

No swearing or crude language – we’re on 24/7 and kids listen too.

♥

Keep it kind

Nothing hurtful, mocking or damaging about anyone.

✎

Your message

You’re responsible for what you send, and that the people named would be happy to hear it.

Keep it fun. We won’t air:

  1. Swearing, crude language or innuendo (we’re on 24/7, kids listen too).
  2. Anything hurtful, mocking or discriminatory about anyone’s race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age or background.
  3. Private information: home addresses, phone numbers, health details, or anything someone wouldn’t want said about them on the radio.
  4. Ads, promotions, political campaigning, fundraising appeals or links.
  5. Negative or damaging comments about real people or businesses.
  6. Anything illegal, threatening, or that impersonates someone else.

Your message, your responsibility

We read every dedication for tone and language, but we can’t check whether personal news in a message is true. By sending a dedication, you confirm it’s accurate and that the people named would be happy to hear it on air. If something aired about you that you’re not happy with, email [[email protected]] and we’ll look into it.

Limits

  • Dedications: up to [150] characters each (the box shows how many you have left).
  • Names: full names are fine, just like any radio request (“Have a great day, Mary Murphy, on the road to Kerry!”).

If a dedication breaks a rule

We may lightly edit it or ask you to rewrite it. If we can’t make it work, we’ll drop it and refund that dedication. We’ll always tell you before your show.
